'Leaves on the Line'

Our train service was disrupted this morning by an event usually expected in the Autumn; Leaves on the Line.
Today though it wasn't a gentle spread along the line but a concentration in two places - trees had fallen down overnight!

Before working the driver experience train Class 25 D7612 had to put away the dinning train from the previous evening then collect the main set from Bishops Bridge loop. On its journey to Staverton the train came across this tree at 4 1/2 mile post. After clearing this one a second tree was also discovered at Woodville Water Board crossing but this was passable, just.
