Back in 2001 we acquired a small turntable from the Austin-Morris Cowley works as part of their redevelopment. The story of the turntable can be found here and in it we mentioned that it was suitable for turning our smaller engines such as former GWR 0-6-0PT 1369.
Today, Tuesday 20th March 2012, saw 1369 be our first locomotive to be turned on this turntable.
1369 was specifically turned round for Brian Cocks’ funeral in 2011 only this had to be done by loading her onto a lorry which was turned around and then 1369 off loaded again.
