The SDRT Museum visit to Kelly Mine near Lustleigh on 26 April, when we were treated to a guided tour of the site with all the machinery working. The mine once extracted micaceous haematite, and was the origin of battleship grey paint. The tour went on the lunch at the Warren House Inn, afternoon tea at the Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale, and then on to Tavistock for early evening refreshments.
