Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June 2022 sees the South Devon Railway celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a garden–party style event; — and a beer festival too...
The bars open at 11.00 on each day and close at 22.30 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and at 18.00 on Sunday.
Due to a lack of parking at Staverton travel by train is a requirement either from Totnes or Buckfastleigh.
There is a large free carpark at Buckfastleigh.
Alternatively GWR offer through tickets from all their stations; ask at GWR booking Offices or guards for through travel to The South Devon Railway, Buckfastleigh.
There is an hourly vintage ’bus service from Ashburton Bull Ring to Buckfastleigh station starting at 11.15a.m. until 4.15p.m. ( last return service leaves Buckfastleigh 4. 0p.m. ).
