"Foxcote Manor's" visit
Foxcote Manor is now half way through its short visit to the South Devon Railway. Saturday April 2nd saw it running on the South Devon Railway's dining train and then later in the day on the service train. The opportunity was taken to take some photographs of the engine at various locations on the line. The SDR Dining Train with its Victorian Saloon and two Ocean Saloons looks particularly attractive behind a tender engine. We look forward to seeing the SDR's own tender engine 3803 at work with the train next year and, in due course, our own 'Hall' Class locomotive. The tender running behind 7822 is the one which will run with 3803 when it comes into traffic
