Copper sheet C107 (formerly BS2875) for Locomotive Fireboxes
The South Devon Railway is able to supply copper sheets large enough
to construct new locomotive fireboxes! Satisfied customers now include
the Paignton & Dartmouth Railway whose newly recommissioned locomotive,
7827 Lydham Manor, recently returned to traffic with a new firebox made
from copper sourced and supplied via the SDR workshops at Buckfastleigh.
