Work has started on the replacement building where the former CATS office was situated, beside “Saunders House”. The photos show work on the concrete base on Monday 29th February 2016, with it being completed by Friday 04th March. It will now have to cure properly before the next stage. The works include a new fibre link to the station building so the offices can benefit from connection to the Internet

Work is also in progress by Buckfastleigh Station Group to convert the small waiting room in the main station building at Buckfastleigh into another office.

L92 left for the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway where it will spend the season. Do look in and see that railway if you happen to be in the area – they are very friendly.

Finally, the SDR S&T department advises that the post for the new temporary platform starter at Totnes Littlehempston has been installed.
