Having completed the relaying of the Level Crossing at Staverton the S&T Department have now re-instated the Staverton-Dock siding but this time instead of being operated from a ground frame it has been reversed and is now operated from the Bishops Bridge Signal Box allowing it to be used while a train is in section between Staverton and Totnes.

The photographs below show the first train over the "new" connection. Work still outstanding includes ballasting and a little bit more packing here and there, trimming of timber ends, plus tidy up of surrounding areas (to be done once we start running again and after work at Totnes).
