	The South Devon Railway 'South Devon Diesel Traction'

South Devon Diesel Traction is a private limited company formed by a group of South Devon Railway volunteers who have a specialist interest in diesels.
To date they own two class 20s (numbers D8110 and 20118) and a class 25 (Number D7612).
One of their founders also owns a Class 121 "Bubble Car" number 55000.
The Class 127 Heritage Diesel Multiple Unit is owned by a group called Dart Wyvern, but SDDT does the day to day maintenance and provides the crews to operate the unit.
SDDT has a number of drivers who operate the diesel hauled services and who can be called upon in the rare event of a diesel locomotives deputising for a failed steam locomotive.
The introduction of two train running following the opening of the passing loop at Staverton has seen an increase in the number of days SDDT haul trains.
