The South Devon Railway's Transport Gala will take place over the week end of 13th & 14th September 2008.
The Real Ale Festival will be held in the Goods Shed on Staverton Station mid way along the line.
On the Saturday evening a special 'bus service will depart the Buckfastleigh Station forecourt at 18.30 for Totnes Main Line station via Staverton station using the Railway's former London Transport Routemaster RM1872. There is a return journey to Buckfastleigh stopping at Staverton so the ales can be enjoyed. A limited selection of real ales will be available on the main set.
